Questions about grants
Do you write the whole grant application?
No. We prepare the technical and commercial side: the proposal, specification, schedule, contract and delivery documents. The application itself, the business plan and the relationship with the funder stay with you.
What happens if the grant isn't approved?
Nothing is signed before the decision. The proposal stays valid for the period stated in it, and you can still go ahead with the project without the grant.
A fixed-price proposal for grants too?
Yes. The price in the proposal is fixed, as on any project. It helps the application too: the funder sees exactly what it's paying for.
Can you work to the programme's schedule?
Yes. We split delivery into the stages required for reporting and write that into the contract.
Are you an accredited consultant on any programme?
We don't present ourselves as one. We work as the project's supplier: we prepare the technical documents and deliver what's in the proposal.
