Laptops for companies

For office work (email, documents, a browser-based CRM), an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD are enough. With less than 16 GB of RAM, a browser full of tabs and a video call will already slow it down.

For design work (AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max), what matters is a dedicated graphics card, at least 32 GB of RAM and a high-resolution screen. Check the list of graphics cards certified by the software vendor.

For travelling, what matters is weight (under 1.5 kg) and battery life.

If the laptop is joining the company network, choose one with Windows 11 Pro, not Home: only Pro can join a domain. You'll also find the Windows 11 Pro licence on its own in the shop.
