About CIS Suite 2025 Standard (16 cores)

Core Infrastructure Server Suite 2025 Standard (16 cores) is a perpetual licence for 16 cores: you pay for it once and it never expires. It activates online, and you download the installation kit from the vendor, at the link we send you.

Core Infrastructure Server Suite (CIS) Standard 2025 combines the Windows Server Standard licence with System Center Standard, which administrators use to monitor and manage servers. It is licensed per core, like Windows Server: the licence covers 16 cores, with a minimum of 16 per server.

How to activate

  1. Download the installation kit from the link in the email.
  2. Install Windows Server in the edition you bought.
  3. Enter the key and activate online.
  4. Keep the licence certificate and documents together with the invoice.

Questions about CIS Suite 2025 Standard (16 cores)

How many cores do I need to license?

Every physical core in the server, but at least 8 per processor and 16 per server. A server with two 12-core processors means 24 cores, which is twelve 2-core packs.

User CAL or Device CAL?

User CALs when people work from several devices (laptop, phone, a computer at home). Device CALs when several people take turns on the same computer. You can mix both types on the same server.

When will I get the licence?

Within 5 working days of payment, by email (and in your account, if you have one).

What documents do I get?

A tax invoice, made out to the details entered with the order, and the licence’s proof-of-origin documents. Companies also receive the invoice through e-Factura.

What if activation doesn't work?

Write to us or call us, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, and we'll help you activate the licence. If the licence itself won't activate, we send you another one or refund its price.

Can I return the licence?

Until you receive it, you can cancel the order. Once delivered, the licence can't be returned: at checkout you asked for delivery before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed that you can no longer withdraw after delivery. If the licence itself won't activate, we replace it or refund its price. The details are in ‘Delivery, payment and returns’.
