About VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus 7
VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus 7 is a perpetual licence for 1 processor: you pay for it once and it never expires. It activates online, and you download the installation kit from the vendor, at the link we send you.
VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus 7 is the virtualisation platform that lets you run several virtual servers on the same physical machine. The licence covers one physical processor with up to 32 cores. It adds DRS (automatic load balancing), the distributed virtual switch and host profiles. It doesn't include the vendor's support and subscription contract (SnS); central management needs vCenter Server, licensed separately.
How to activate
- Download ESXi from the link in the email and install it on the host.
- Enter the licence key in the Licensing section of vCenter or the host client.

Questions about VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus 7
Standard or Enterprise Plus?
Standard for 2–3 servers, where moving machines and automatic restarts are all you need. Enterprise Plus when you have more hosts and want the load to balance itself across them.
Do I get updates?
Not from the vendor. The SnS contract isn't included, so you use the version you bought (7 or 8).
When will I get the licence?
Within 5 working days of payment, by email (and in your account, if you have one).
What documents do I get?
A tax invoice, made out to the details entered with the order, and the licence’s proof-of-origin documents. Companies also receive the invoice through e-Factura.
What if activation doesn't work?
Write to us or call us, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, and we'll help you activate the licence. If the licence itself won't activate, we send you another one or refund its price.
Can I return the licence?
Until you receive it, you can cancel the order. Once delivered, the licence can't be returned: at checkout you asked for delivery before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed that you can no longer withdraw after delivery. If the licence itself won't activate, we replace it or refund its price. The details are in ‘Delivery, payment and returns’.
